Metode Kerja Kertas H2S
Metode Hydrogen Sulphide ini adalah suatu metode pengujian untuk mengetahui kualitas air
minum dan didasarkan pada deteksi hidrogen sulfida sebagai hasil metabolisme bakteri patogen.
Seperti Coliform dan E-Coli serta beberapa bakteri enterik seperti Salmonella, Proteus, Citrobacter
dan beberapa strain lebsiella, juga menghasilkan hidrogen sulfida.
Kertas strip Steril yang telah berikan reagent disimpan dalam botol kaca steril. Sampel air diisi dalam
botol dan disimpan selama 24 sampai 48 jam pada suhu kamar (25-37 C).
Jika terdapat bakteri dalam sampel, maka gas hidrogen sulfida yang di hasilkan oleh bakteri tersebut
akan membuat kertas strip berwarna hitam.

minimizing contamination of the air and saving fuel.
METHOD
To overcome the many disadvantages in conventional Ringelman way, the diagram is
imprinted on the special film inside for practical measuring of the density of smoke observed
through.

The measuring distance of 16 m. which is required in conventional way, is not necessary in
"THE SCOPE", as the diagram is inside of it.

PRINSIP KERJA
Ovitrap  ketika  ditambahkan  dengan  air  akan  menarik  nyamuk  betina  untuk  bertelur.  Ketika  telur
menetas dan berkembang menjadi dewasa, mereka tidakdapat terbang keluar dari perangkat dan
mati  dalam  perangkap.  Ekstensif  menggunakan  ovitrap dalam  sebuah  komunitas  dapat  digunakan
dalam pengendalian populasi Aedes dan efektif mengurangi populasi nyamuk Aedes di daerah itu.
REKOMENDASI
Untuk mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal dapat ditambahkan cuka buah / ragi dan sedikit gula.
PERAWATAN
Setelah larvae nyamuk dan serangga yang terperangkap telah cukup padat, sesekali perlu
dibersihkan untuk ovitrap, setidaknya dua minggu sekali.
Gunakan air untuk mencuci, kemudian simpani tempat yang kering.
